Terms and Conditions for classes and workshops

  • Payment is required in full when booking a place on our classes and workshops. Full payment reserves your place, so if you have asked to reserve a place, this will only be held in the basket for 24 hours. If payment has then not been made within these 24 hours, the place will be lost.
  • You may cancel your course within 48 hours of booking your course and receive a full refund. If the cancellation notice is less than this, we only offer a refund if we manage to fill the place, minus admin costs that have occurred. Any other refunds are at the discretion of the instructor. 
  • If for any reason a class has to be cancelled by Meadow View, your missed session will be added onto the end of the course date.
  • An alternative will not be offered for any unattended classes, however the instructor will verbally offer the content of that class via telephone where possible. 
  • Dogs in season can only attend class with the instructors approval. The dogs attending in each class will be taken into consideration when making a final decision by the instructor. 
  • For any reactive or nervous dogs a full assessment will need to be made by the instructor prior to booking any courses or workshops. It may be necessary to complete individual work to build the dogs confidence first. 
  • Dogs to only attend classes if in full health. Any bout of sickness, diarrhoea or illness of any sorts, must have 72 hours from the last symptom clear before attending class. Any unwell dog will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be offered. 
  • We ask that you behave in a respectful manner towards staff, other clients and dogs. If we deem your behaviour not to be appropriate, you will be asked to leave and a refund will not be issued for the block of classes. 
  • The owner is responsible for their dog, equipment that they bring with them and attend the course at their own risk. The equipment used in class will be appropriate for the level that owner has booked on to. Owners should not leave their dog unattended at any point. 
  • Any dog interactions that take place on our premises, are the responsibility of the dog’s owner. Any physical interaction, liability is held with the owner of the dog. No injuries and damage caused by this interaction will be covered by Meadow View.
  • Meadow View will not be held liable for any loss, injury or death whilst attending lessons. 
  • It is important when booking onto a course or workshop, that you select the appropriate level for your dog. If uncertain, please contact us, so that we can advise you. It may not be possible to transfer to an appropriate course if the wrong course has been selected and a refund can not be given for inappropriate bookings. 
  • Please note that under the control of dogs order 1992, all dogs must wear a collar and an identity tag in a public place, with the tag detailing the name, address and phone number of the owner. 
  • Here at Meadow View we are approachable, if you have any concerns or something stopping you training with us, please talk to a member of staff in confidence. 
  • Meadow View have the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. 
  • Anybody booking onto classes or workshops, do so in accordance to the terms and conditions and it is their responsibility to read the terms and conditions before booking. 
  • You are happy for all photos and video footage to be used on social media/website/advertising without prior approval. All content remains property of Meadow View. Please notify staff if you do not consent. 
  • Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for all classes, workshops and events, to avoid injury and material damage. 
 

Meadow View Dog Paddock and Training 

Private Paddock Terms and Conditions:

  • Please read our terms and conditions carefully before attending your booked space. In making a booking at our paddock you agree to abide by these terms and conditions of use and are bound by them.
  • The costs of use are clearly displayed on our booking system and we have the right to amend these at any given date.
  • It is your responsibility to check your booking and advise us if any details are incorrect. Your booking CANNOT be transferred to another person or party without our permission.
  • We reserve the right to make any necessary amendments to your booking due to circumstances beyond our control. We will inform you as early as possible if this is required. 
  • You use our paddock and facilities at your own risk. Whilst we take all possible action to maintain our paddock and facilities, the ground may be uneven or muddy and slippery in places. 
  • You agree to use the paddock for private use only. No dog trainers or dog walkers are permitted to use the paddock without prior arrangement with us.
  • Under the Animal welfare act 2006 you will not cause any suffering or pain to any dogs whilst using our facilities. Any such behaviour witnessed will result in an instant ban and you will be reported.
  • All dogs attending must be fit and well. Dogs that are ill or showing any signs of illness [ e.g., vomiting, kennel cough, diarrhoea] are not permitted to use the facilities.
  • All clients using our paddock must have met with a member of staff prior to their booking for an induction.
  • On arrival you will attend no earlier than five minutes before your booking to respect the previous client’s privacy.
  • You will not enter the paddock until the time of your booked session.
  • You will not exit your vehicle until the previous clients are back in their car with all doors shut. 
  • Leads are to be used in the carpark AT ALL TIMES!!!!
  • Only 4 dogs are permitted use our paddock at any one time unless agreed prior to use. Please contact us via email for authorisation should you wish to bring more.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the fence is a safe height for your dog’s use. If you think your dog is capable of climbing the fence please do not enter or remove their lead.
  • All poos are to be picked up and placed in the bin provided or taken home. Spot checks are made and any poo`s left will result in an instant ban! Use the provided poo bags if you have forgotten your own. We are not permitted to provide poo bags and if unnecessary amounts are taken it is a service we will withdraw.
  • You will not allow your dog to dig holes as these can become potentially dangerous to other paddock clients and their dogs. Any holes must be reported immediately via text or email.
  • Do not allow dogs under 12 months of age to use any of the raised agility equipment. Their growth plates are not yet fully formed and use of the raised equipment can result in injury. Your dog’s use of the pools, agility equipment and trampoline are at your own risk. DO NOT ALLOW children on the agility equipment. [ trampoline fine but used at their own risk] Any damages to ANY of the equipment must be reported immediately via text or email.
  • If using any of the first aid from the cabin please report to staff so that this can be replenished. Although our staff are canine first aiders, we cannot guarantee to be available. THEREFORE, PLEASE ALWAYS HAVE YOUR VETS CONTACT NUMBER AT HAND FOR EMERGENCIES.
  • DO NOT allow your dog into the summerhouse if they are wet and muddy. We retain the right to close the summerhouse during periods of unsuitable weather. If using the summerhouse with doors open, please secure them back with the hooks provided to avoid damage. Do not leave any litter or toys in here and leave tidy as found.
  • Canine specialist pools are out from April till October; these are cleaned each day. It is your responsibility to supervise your dogs at all times.
  • Toys are provided in the toy box, use only suitable appropriately sized toys for your dog. Please clear the toys and replace back into the toy box before leaving. Toys left out can cause dog fights with dogs that resource guard!!
  • Water bowls and fresh drinking water is provided, if you use these bowls make sure they are left full with clean water in the gravel pit as you found them. DO NOT use the water corner to wash down your dogs at any point!!
  • If brushing your dog in the paddock remove and take home any hair to avoid other dogs choking on the hair.
  • If using the cabin, please leave tidy as found. Spot checks are routinely made and any clients found not to respect the facilities will be banned. If borrowing a dog towel, return the towel washed on your next visit, these are not for you to keep and remain the property of the paddock! All umbrellas to be returned at the end of your session.
  • ALL litter to be removed and taken home.
  • Multiple last-minute cancellations will result in the removal of your online booking membership.24 hrs minimum notice must be given for all cancellations.
  • Any persons attending your booking with you are your responsibility and must abide by our terms and conditions, at no point are they permitted to attend without you.
  • Your booked time slot includes packing away, catching your dog and being back in your car with all doors shut at the end of your booked time slot!! Overstaying will result in paying for the next 30 min session irrelevant of it being occupied or not. The padlock must be put back on the gate correctly when leaving to ensure no entry to unauthorised users.
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage howsoever which has not been caused by us.
  • Car parking is provided. Please Park considerately taking up only one vehicle space. Contents and vehicles are left entirely at the owner`s risk. Do not allow your dog to approach any other vehicle other than your own.
  • All liable damages caused as a result of any person or dog attending through your booking must be reimbursed to us in full.
  • Any complaints must be reported in written form no later than 7 days after your booking.
  • Meadow View staff will be permitted to enter the paddock at anytime to carry out inspections for safety reasons.
  • All personal information is held in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
  • Toilet facilities are provided and cleaned regularly by a third party, please leave clean.
